BRING HOPE TO THE WORLD
ICARE是壹家非盈利組織，成立於2018年8月，位於北加州。該組織主要由來自北美各地的年輕人組成。其使命是通過提供物質援助和學習機會，幫助那些生活在貧 困社區、亟需經濟支持的兒童和青少年。
ICARE倡導平等與尊重，是世界各地年輕人互動的平臺。通過相互關懷和共同成長，這些努力將打破地理界限，促進不同種族、民族和文化背景的人們之間的平等。
ICARE is a non-profit organization founded in August 2018 in Northern California. The organization is mainly composed of young people from across North America. Its mission is to assist children and teenagers living in impoverished communities who urgently need economic support by providing material assistance and learning opportunities.
ICARE advocates equality and respect, and serves as a platform for interaction among young people around the world. Through mutual care and shared growth, these efforts will break down geographical barriers and promote equality among people of different races, ethnicities and cultural backgrounds.
中國西藏自治區玉樹的艾斯村以惡劣的天氣、落後的教育、醫療和交通系統而聞名。當我們享受著豐富多樣的資源和信息時，阿塞地區的孤兒卻住在寺院裏。這些兒童正在為獲得溫暖、食物和住所而掙紮。我們在阿瀨村創辦了明玉希望小學，不僅幫助孤兒接受更好的教育，還幫助他們在更包容的環境中與世界其他地方交流。 “明月希望”在中文中的意思是“璀璨玉希望”，象征著學校的每壹位學生在獲得幫助以發揮其最大潛能的同時，都懷揣著對未來的希望。
目前，明月希望小學共有53名寄宿生(均為孤兒)，1名中文教師，1名藏語教師，以及1名普通科目教師。每年7月，來自北美的iCare誌願者會到訪學校，為健康、手工藝和繪畫課程帶來物資，同時他們也會親自授課。這些經歷讓學生們和我們的誌願者得以超越背景差異，相互交流，並有機會建立起持久的友誼。
While we enjoy a rich variety of resources and information, the orphans in the Ais area are living in temples. These children are struggling to obtain warmth, food and shelter. We established the Mingyu Hope Primary School in the Ais village, not only helping the orphans receive better education, but also helping them communicate with the rest of the world in a more inclusive environment. "Hope of the Bright Moon" in Chinese means "Crescent Moon Hope", symbolizing that every student in the school has hope for the future while receiving help to reach their maximum potential.
At present, Mingyue Hope Primary School has 53 boarding students (all orphans), 1 Chinese teacher, 1 Xizang language teacher, and 1 general subject teacher. Every July, ICARE volunteers from North America visit the school to bring supplies for health, handicrafts and painting courses, and they also give lessons themselves. These experiences enable the students and our volunteers to go beyond background differences, communicate with each other, and have the opportunity to build lasting friendships.
ICARE協助為其他誌願團隊舉辦活動，包括矽谷青年領袖(SVYL)，並匹配他們在籌款活動中籌集的資金數額。我們還為其他學生提供獎學金(每年2000美元)，以鼓勵 他們繼續從事值得尊敬的服務活動。
ICARE assists in organizing events for other volunteer teams, including the Silicon Valley Youth Leaders (SVYL), and matches the amount of funds they raise in fundraising activities. We also provide scholarships (worth $2,000 per year) to other students to encourage them to continue engaging in respectable service activities.
在現有的國際災難中，icare向慈善機構捐贈，以支持需要幫助的地區。我們協助舉辦的壹些活動包括為烏克蘭慈善機構籌集了數百美元的庭院出售活動，壹個專門展示高成就老年人的小組討論，讓他們與父母和高中生分享寶貴的經驗，等等。
In current international disasters, icare donates to charities to support areas in need. Some of the events we assist in organizing include a yard sale event to raise hundreds of dollars for a charity in Ukraine, a group discussion dedicated to showcasing accomplished elderly individuals, allowing them to share their valuable experiences with parents and high school students, and so on.
